This series was created from January to April 2021.  Spring and the light at the end of the Covid tunnel served as inspiration, invoking rebirth, growth, and hope.  Harmonious, sweet colors in a higher key (from mid-tone hues to white) were used with intention and were applied on the canvas with calm brush strokes and smooth layers, offering a sense of serenity, consolation, encouragement, and joy.

This whole series was done on Arche’s watercolor paper with mixed-media (Acrylic, Gouache, Charcoal, Pastel, Crayon, Oil Stick, Collage, etc….), each painting is framed under glass with a white wood frame and wire, ready to be hung.

The thickness of white wood frames are 7/8” for the small and medium sizes and 1-1/8” for the two large ones (#1210 and #0221), white borders around the paintings are 3” on each side.
